Although I also developed and designed FM and TV antennas this home page is dealing with LW- and MW- antennas mainly.
It is an exception that I describe this interesting antenna consisting of 64 single panels AEJ0546 from TELEFUNKEN ( 8 rows/ 8 columns) which is located in the upper part of this section of the tower.
Due to the large diameter of the shaft in principle it is difficult to obtain a horizontal pattern which is omnidirectional within the standards. This is the reason why so many antenna panels are needed.
