Due to the mutual influences of the masts in particular due to the fact that the guy ropes are intersected only by two insulators at the top and at the base the horizontal patterns are not perfectly omnidirectional.
The theoretical pattern with its ripples was confirmed by the extensive measurements.
It was extensive because it was necessary to determine and to measure every measuring point in the desert like aera.
