LW antenna Ingøy - The path from the harbour to the antenna station

photos by Jan Inge Ramsvik and Bernd Waniewski
At  the harbour at Ingøy. Typical weather: the antenna disappearing into dark clouds.
The wooden church of Ingøy on the right.
On the way to the antenna: view backwards to the harbour
Approaching the transmitter building and the antenna in the background
The transmitter building with the antenna in the background seen from the near distance: this photo was taken in 2000, three years early than the photo above.
A view up to the top of the 362 m mast
The guy foundations

Only three of the four guy foundations can be seen, since the three uppermost guys are rotated by 60 degrees to the lower guys. This is necessary in order to avoid contact between the wires of the cage ascending from the bottom of the mast to the uppermost guy level and the lower guy ropes.
